The 16th European Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometry (EFTMS 2026) Workshop took place in Rouen, France from April 27 to 30, 2026 ans was organized by the CARMeN Institute at the University of Rouen.
The FTMS workshop tradition started in Germany in 1991 and takes place every two years. The workshops aim to promote interaction and exchange between academic and industrial researchers working in the field of Fourier transform mass spectrometry. The conference covers all FTMS techniques (FTICR and Orbitrap), from instrumental aspects to applications.
Next year in 2027, the 15th North American FT-MS Conference workshop will take place in Key West, Florida, USA during the spring and organized by the MagLab.
In 2028, the 17th European Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometry (EFTMS 2026) Workshop is being planned in Finland and will be organized by Janne Janis from the University of Eastern Finland.
